Many areas of NC could get between 1 to 2 inches before all is said and done! :)

Now:

Scattered showers will continue moving northeast through 8 PM. Showers will be more numerous over the western Piedmont. Areas from The Triad to Seagrove and Lexington will experience on and off again rain through the early evening hours. Farther east...over the sandhills...eastern Piedmont and coastal plain...rain will be more isolated in coverage.

Tonight:

Rain likely. Lows in the upper 40s. Northeast winds around 15 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Thursday:

Widespread showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may contain heavy rainfall. Highs in the lower 60s. East winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.

Thursday Night:

Showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may contain heavy rain. Lows in the mid 50s. South winds around 15 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.

"Hey" (as they say in eastern NC!) EveryWxone! :D Have a Great Night and Thantastic Thursday! :)

Eric

Good evening everyone (or late night)

I went to eat at the church tonight before services and got home right about the time Bush spoke. Someone from the church was talking and he said, "I don't care if you like President Bush or if you voted for him, but everyone in the country needs to be praying for him right now. I wouldn't want to be him right now. He has a lot of very tough decisions to make." etc. I don't remember everything he said but that was the point.

I agree.

Goodness Amanzi...take care of yourself!!

I hope everyone else is feeling better.

God Bless our President & God Bless our troops!!

Hey ya'll, this is my first time posting here with ya'll.

Thanks for the emails inviting me here guys! Ticka, I was up late watching the news lastnight too. Infact, we were out with friends at a dance night club, when the President came on and announced that we were at war. It was amazing, the entire club shut down, they turned on CNN, and the entire club was somber as we all watched the President on theatre styled screens. Of course, we were with the owner of the club, and he requested this, but it was nice to see the respect shown for our President and our mission. Also with us was the head of Barksdale Air Force Base's 2cnd Bomb Wing, and even He, did not think we would strike lastnight. Its amazing how so many military people do not know exactly whats going on, isn't it? Well, God speed to safe returns of our troops.

Springlike weather here, everything is blooming beautifully...

Hey guys... (and gals ;) )

I have been watching the coverage all day long so that is why I haven't been posting much. I will be posting periodically throughout the evening, but as long as things are hopping I will be watching tv.

Hi furluv! Glad to have you over here. :bgbounce:

We're under an STS watch for another 2 hrs. Had 1 squall already, a couple more on the way. Time to check the radar again and the latest news. I can't remember life before cable. I'm so spoiled with having instant information.

Take care everyone!

Thanks Garrett! The line seems to be weakening. Temps and DPs have dropped, looks like not enough instability to work with. Whereabouts is Monett? Have you had any severe weather? Parts of MO got clocked the last couple days.

Hellos to Shannon...

#1180 Postby azskyman » Thu Mar 20, 2003 10:23 pm

Shannon...

Hi in Louisiana!

Been a few weeks since you started your home schooling...so do you still have some energy left? Having taught school for 10 years, I have never forgotten the intensity levels needed to be sharp and stay sharp during the "learning day." It is perhaps one of the most intense responsibilities a person can accept.

Nice to see you here. I meandered over here after several invitiations, but mostly I decided to visit after about 3 days of trying to get Infopop to cooperate. Seems better and more stable here.

Anyway...enjoy some of Annette's Krispy Kremes and drop a note now and then. Hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll have a little more news to share about granddaughter Emma's return to California!

To all of you here at the stove...be safe in the hours and days ahead.
