how do you get adware stuff off your computer

If you save it to your disk, the uninstalled program gets saved on to your hard drive. Then you have to remember where it was saved to, and open the file to install it. Once you install it, then you should go back and delete the original file, unless you want to keep it "just in case." I have a bunch of files like that just doing nothing but taking up space. I've started just opening them rather than saving them to disk. I figure that if I ever need it again, I'll just download it again and get the latest version. No muss, no fuss.

BTW, spybot has some other cool utilities that come with it. I like the document shredder, which supposedly "really" removes things from your computer.

Of course you know that, if you are running Windows, nothing really gets totally removed from your PC. The only way to be certain is to remove the hard drive!

Besides removing adware you might also consider removing a bunch of unnecessary stuff that loads at startup. Right now I can't remember the name of the application that does that for you but you can find it on my site: http://abajan.i6networks.com/.
