Ewww duckie, that's DISGUSTING!! I did drink a diet coke out of date at someone's house before. YUK!! It was a 16oz. bottle so it may have tasted worse than a can would have. You're right...it's gross!

I love cheddar cheese and one time I picked up a bag of shredded cheddar cheese that had apparently been shoved to the back of the fridge. It had been opened and there wasn't much left. I reached in without paying much attention and put a handful in my mouth. After briefly chewing it, I spit it all out making sure to get every shred of it only to find mold all in the bag. I gagged and nearly threw up and washed my mouth out at least a dozen times. Made me sick!!!

Most disgusting thing I ever ate was when my mom made me try cooked broccoli when I was about 4. It was DISGUSTING, and I think I threw up!

Sounds like the folks were inadvertantly trying a science experiment there, KC...when you happened upon the stuff.

Once, in Subic Bay Philippines, I had a local delicacy called "Balut". I'm not going to look up the correct spelling..pretty sure it's Tagalag for "rotten eggs".

By FAR the most disgusting thing I will ever eat.... with the possible exception of my own cooking.

A yucky topic to say the least! But anyways here is the short list.

Peas. Make me sick and cant even stand the smell of them either.
Broccoli. UGH
I have a very weak stomach to say the least which does not help matter at all. Just reading some of the stories here is making me gag! :18:

When I was about 10 we were traveling through Yellowstone Park on our way north into Montana. I became quite ill in the car...and well, let's just say it was me and the bears in the woods for about 30 minutes.

That night I thought I would eat something fairly calm...ordered baked rainbow trout.

I had eaten most of it when I discovered that not only was their a fishhook inside it, but also some half-digested minnow bait on that hook!

We hit the road much later the next day...that motel bathroom kept calling me!!

If it's disgusting, I won't eat it.

How about leftover macaroni & cheese mixed with leftover chili?

Didn't keep the fishhook, but I'm sure there is one extra tall tree in Yellowstone park!

I think we need to rename this thread - The Best Diet!

Seriously, read and digest, pun intended, this topic and you won't want to eat for hours!!!!

Shawn - that pic with chicken feet was more than just disgusting, it's just plain sad to me.

Mary - I about barfed when I read your post about the turtle soup! I was laughing and feeling sick at the same time about your reply. You poor kid that day.

And Eric, I'm sorry but after reading two pages of this thread, a brussel sprout is looking pretty darn good to me right now! Honest!

Mary

It looks disgusting and scaly and hard. I just don't see how I could bring myself to put that to my lips. That would be the ultimate gross out for me on "Fear Factor."

Madge the Manicurist could certainly do some work for those hands...er feet!
