Senate votes to take $100 billion from President Bush's proposed tax cuts to pay for war.

Can't say I can argue the issue. :? It's got to be done and it has to be paid for.

I agree Mf - sacrifices have to be made somewhere - and you have to admit this is money well spent if Sadamn is removed from power.

What's that mean, that this amount will remain in the taxes to be collected?

I heard that there are frozen Iraqui assets that will be used to help pay for this too.

The US Government is trying to sieze Iraqi assets world wide. We'll have to see how succesful they will be in getting other countries to cooperate. The Iraqi oil will be a big help and that's why it's so important to keep them from destroying the oil infrastructure.
