Thanks David.. The Carib wave still looks rather interesting.. If conditions were favorable, The Gulf coast would be in for its first storm

On a side note what is the ball of convections off the S. Carolina coast.. I know its nothing tropical, just wondering what it is

Chad, SF answered the question in the Big East Coast Blob thread. Basics are it is similar to what we have experienced here in Texas the last few days.
