#1 Postby Josephine96 » Fri Jun 11, 2004 8:16 pm

If you remember.. about 6 months ago.. {6 months ago Sunday in fact}.. I finally forgave my ex fiancee for her cheating sin she commited..

Anyway.. just out of the blue a few minutes ago.. SHE HAD THE OUTRIGHT AUDACITY TO CALL ME EVEN THOUGH I WROTE HER A LETTER WHEN I FORGAVE HER SAYING I NEVER WANTED HER TO TALK TO ME EVER AGAIN!

I'm sorry for this sudden rant that probably means no signifigance to anyone.. But I am blowing steam off lol

Time for another (((((((((((HUG))))))))))) Brother ;)

So very sorry to hear that this woman apparently can't understand English in a handwritten letter...

I may do that RainStorm.. But this is the 1st time she's called in about 5 months lol..

I think I'll just attempt to leave it be for a bit.. I think this was just a random thing

Hey John - this may not be a guy thing, but I wonder if a journal may help you. I know it really helps my daughter Nina. She also is a list maker. Areas she feels helpless in, things she can change, things she can't. Goals, etc. I have a list of things I will never do when my girls are grown - based upon what negative things my own mother has done to me. And now Nina has a list of things she won't do when a parent. Whenever she tells me she's added another item to that list, I just smile. I try so hard not to get upset. Which I think upsets her more!

But what I'm trying to say is possibly pen and paper in hand might be another option for you too. We can all lend moral support but sometimes seeing solutions in black and white, helps my daughter greatly. This of course may be something girls do more though.

Just a friendly suggestion.

I've actually been suggested the journal idea more than once but haven't tried it yet..

I may consider it..

Well, why did she call in the first place?

Was it because she possibly wanted a reconcilation, or something else? Was it that she felt that with the history between you two that you just might actually know her better than she does and she needed advice? I know you stated that you never wanted to talk to her again, but you also said that you forgave her.

I know what it's like from experience, dude. An ex of mine did the same thing to me ... You don't have to reconcile, and I wouldn't blame you there, but NOW my ex and I have been speaking quite a bit and have been able to regain a friendship ...

And Miss Mary does have a great idea ... keep a journal of some sort. If you are a writer or something, you can come up with lyrics and stuff ... I have a tendency to be able to write about these things and things going on in my life through song lyrics ...

sadly some people never grow up to be responsible adults...that is just a fact...but i'm impressed in the fact that she was forgiven... I personally believe cheating on you spouse or soon-to-be spouse should be punishable by death!!!! LOL (not really kidding) LOL

The only reason I forgave her was because of how many people that kept telling me.. "If you don't forgive her.. you'll be bitter" lol..

Plus.. it really doesn't bother me too much anymore.. There are times like what happened Friday, but those feelings only temporarily get stirred up.. then I cool off and let it go..

I don't need a woman who's like that.. It's not worth it..

You could also use the call block feature if you have it.
