Notice all the reds are to the south.. while mostly yellow and blue to the north

I have to agree FloydBuster... It does look pretty healthy.. or at least is attempting to be.. The convection just needs to become more organized

with a little more organization, a little less shear, and if an LLC would develop we might just have something! Looks like a work in progress though.

Shear does need to lessen for it to organize more.. Lets see if it relaxes

I think we are going to see a situation where a LLC forms...moves out form the convection and dies...in an endless cycle until it moves inland.

We just MIGHT be seeing the broad area of LP beginning to take shape, however, I'm ALSO seeing a strengthening of westerly winds across the Western GOM ...
