Stright to Tropical Storm Alex....
Notice most systems that we watch with "AN EAGLE'S EYE" most of them go stright to Tropical Storm. Barry, Bill, Erika, Larry, ALEX? Watching for a depression to form and BANG, TS. If this does develop, I don't know how strong it wll get. Gulf, summer, unpredictable no matter how much shear. But, I have a feeling when Hurricane Hunters go out, they will find a newborn named Alex.

But its consistent convection, which most definately is better than none at all and/or those systems that wane and flare up.

It looks absolutely horrible.
HELLO PEOPLE, What do you want from this system? To look like Isabel at its high or just Floyd when it was over the Bahamas. WE ARE LOOKING TO A SYSTEM THAT AGAINST ALL ODDS WENT FROM AN UPPER LOW TO A SURFACE LOW. Also, not all systems will look like Claudette at its beginning. I DON'T KNOW WHAT PEOPLE ARE THINKING. I'M SORRY, BUT YOU PEOPLE ARE WANTING TOO MUCH FROM THIS SYSTEM.

What should we be saying while monitoring this tropical disturbance? We are giving our opinions on the feature which unfortunately may be sounding like we think that we expect more from this.
Most if not all of us here understand that June and July are typically tranquil months in the tropics, but at the same time this is a very good climatological area for tropical cyclongensis.

UMMMMMMMMMMMMM excuse me actually nobody said they were expecting a system like isabel or floyd. If you in your right mind you will know that will never happen with that stuff in the gulf. People might just want to see atleast a weak tropical storm out of it.
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS IF THE STORM DEVELOPS WELL IT DEVELOPS. IF IT DONT WELL THEN O WELL, THERE WILL BE MANY MORE STORMS IN YOUR LIFETIME THAT YOU WILL SEE.
