This system has an eddy monster look.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I wouldn't call it ranting and raving. We are discussing this potential tropical development. We wouldn't be here if we didn't like meteorology. :)

Besides, this is something of interest for us to watch. climatologically favorable area for tropical development.

It's this stage where the "ranting and raving" occurs. Once a system forms, we're pretty calm. Just a few comments on intensity and direction, but a lot of the other stuff stops.

Upper level wind shear in the Gulf of Mexico isn't that hostile and has increased in the last three hours, not necessarily a long trend -- especially with the latest updated expectation of the once dissipating front over the southeastern U.S. moving northward as a warm front (that I mentioned in another thread).

Hmmm, you've only been here since March so you have no idea what happens during the tropical season. This is normal, there is lots of discussion on just about EVERY system so get used to it. :x

Express your opinion with respect. We aren't idiots...using the example you did and comparing a major hurricane Satellite photo to this was uncalled for It will only bring the response you got. Nobody is boarding up their homes or evacuating.. All the members on this board are doing is discussing a Potential system in the GOM. Have some Respect!!

Sorry it won't be affecting Miami maybe that's why you're so "whatever" about it. But it will most likely be affecting me along the gulf coast and many others so we have every right to be "ranting and raving." I don't care what you think so keep posting comments criticizing all of our opinions if that's what you want to do. 8-)

Excuse me but can we please just get back to the discussion of the System in the GOM. This is a message board and stuff like this is going to happen but we dont have to act like little children while posting. We have been Ranting and Raving in other parts of this message board. And yes just posting those two images of Floyd and the system in the GOM was going alittle overboard but it happens. Now will you both stop argueing and just get on with it!

I can see that on this board its either agree with the masses or get scolded.

Since I am not into blob tracking I'll see yall at the peak...Maybe..Doubt it..

I'm to old to get scolded.
