A surface low has formed but away from any convection due to shear but interesting neverless.However to develop into a TD it has to have more good conditions but let's see what happens.Regardless of what kind of system is there plenty of rain will go to the gulf coast and let's hope that where is needed the most it goes there to aliviate the dry spell.

The deepest convection I see is well east. We may get the rain we need in Florida :eek: :lol:

The shear map we have been looking at doesn't show dramatic upper level winds in the Gulf of Mexico.

Good call Dean and I agree with you. Someone pointed this out on another board that if you look at recon plan of the day the first is for the LLC out West and then the next Recon is for one farther East. This could be for an expected newly established LLC. PErhaps someone could past that link.
