Nope...I dont think so.I would say there's a better chance at this becoming nothing than something.For people in the path of this,just be prepared for heavy rain,wind I dont think is going to be a problem at all.

Based on recent satellite trends it appears to me that our little disturbance is showing signs of organizing.

This should be a rather slow but steady evolution to TS strength...but more than likey this system will do that before making landfall on the LA coast in less than 2 days.

Even if this does become a td or a ts,rain is going to be a much bigger problem than wind.This system does not have that much time to do anymore strengthening,its getting ready to make landfall sometime tomorrow.If it does happen to become a ts before landfall,its only going to be a 45mph maybe 50mph storm.Even in that case,rain would still be the biggest problem by far.

Looks are decieving at times. Its not well organized at all and if you look at the water vapor imagery you will see a dry slot southwest of the blob. Not much chance of development IMO.

That dry slot can always fill in and as I mentioned in the last several minutes, those two area have a chance of joining each other.
