New Orleans to Mobile............

Looking at the overall dynamics driving this storm, models, Sat. imagery and I have to move this system NNE with a Landfall between NO and MOB. Even the Sat. Loops draw us the line showing us the path of least resistance for this system toward this general direction. I don't see it making it to the NE TX. coast, too hostile.

Makes sense to me, as well. The ULL over the western Gulf or Mexico is giving an easterly nudge to disturbance.

I would say from New Orleans to Destin,Im not -removed- but from what im seeing on tv the Fla Panhandle still has a pretty good shot at getting hit by this....if it develops. :roll:

Even if it doesn't develop, the heavy rain it has to offer can be interesting alone.

N then NW eventually.......the question is where will this system actually form.........I must say I am currently clueless. Recon will shed some light.
AFDs are up in the air. These are good times along the Gulf Coast :)

Yeah but we sort of need the rain...but we don't need 10 inches of it :lol:

Strong tropical disturbance and tropical depressions have been known to bring up to that much rainfall because of their slow movements.

Haven't read anything that steers this thing NE until after it makes landfall. Some AFD's I read indicated it will take a NW movement. Bottom line, we gonna get wet!
