Looks to be headed my way......

The weak low that has everyone excited appears to be headed in my direction. So, recon found a 1011mb low with a 10kt west wind. Currently, I am hedging on it being upgraded to TD status tomorrow. Dry air entrainment should limit its development though. Landfall should occur in SE Louisiana south of New Orleans. A second landfall will occur near Gulfport, Mississippi. Very small chance of this system becoming named as the environment is harsh. Will bring a good soaking to La, Ms, AL and Fl panhandle.

Will any of the moisture make it to north Georgia?

I'd be surprised if this system manages anything more than tropical depression status, and even that is iffy at the moment. On the good side, looks like we will get plenty of rain from the disturbance. We need the rain down here. There is a concern over flash flooding and possibly coastal flooding.

Hello, btw. I'm Janie. :)

North GA will likely see showers related to the system about time of landfall of the low/mid level center. That by itself should tell everyone that landfall is almost irrelevant matter with this system.
