Raining like cats and dogs here in Pascagoula...guess this is what we have to look forward to from the little engine that couldn't.

Rain, rain, rain.

Radar indicating heavy rain all over the place, well into the Florida Panhandle. More heavy rain lurking in the Gulf, ready to come ashore.

I am right there with you guys!! You can definitely feel a difference between rain and tropical rain.......the sky looks different and the whole atmosphere has a different feel to it.........but either way........wet is WET!! Get the rowboats out!!

Yah, GulfBreezer!

The atmosphere is just filled with moisture....it seems there is a big diference between tropical downpours and those we get during the mid-latitude cyclones of the fall and winter. I checked on the relative humidities along the coast and the average is around 97%.

Supposed to rain like cats and dogs here tomorrow cause of the low here in Texas..we have a 70% chance of rain for tomorrow.. Better get my errands ran today, before it gets too bad!! Good luck guys on the east gulf coast! Stay Safe!!

Supposed to rain cats and dogs here today but just don't see it happening right now. It's cloudy and drizzly which would make me think the atmosphere is somewhat stable. If the sun were to come out then we would definately see some heavy storms develop. We'll see what happens.
