Wow tracking two systems during the first half of June. Sure Invest 93 looks weak and has been affected by shear and Invest 94 also look weak but within the upcoming months we will see significant tropical systems. I must say this weekend got me back into the game :) and I am ready for more systems to watch and track.

Yeah, watching the gulf system, made me more hyped for tropical storms now. Even though I think the chances are minimal, I really hope that 94L develops, or something else comes soon.

Based on the number of days in the Hurricane Season (183), we are now 7.65%.

Based on the number of hours -- as of 8:00 pm Eastern -- we are 7.56% through the Season.

Both these figures represent one-thirteenth (1/13) of the Season.

I think the one that hit Hati was something, but maybe down the road the nhc will look at it again???. The gulf system was very close almost to close. In invest 94L appears by the shear maps to be getting a little more favable to its west by the hour. Not out of the quastion but chances are slim in it is not that time of the year for a system to form out there. 8-) We still have many systems to track this season. It will be a very fun time for me to discuse tropcial cyclones with many people. :)
