Strong wave=A rainmaker and some gusty winds for islands
I dont expect this strong wave developing into a TD or TS Alex before it reaches the eastern caribbean sea due to the upper trough to it's west that will not make the enviromental conditions too favorable. However IF this wave that IMO is a significant feature being the middle of June can survive these unfavorable conditions ahead and makes it to the western caribbean then it well have better enviroment. So the biggest threat from this strong wave wil be plenty of rain and some gusty winds that will be felt in the islands of the lesser antilles, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico starting tonight for the windward and leewards and on thursday for the VI and Puerto Rico.Of course I will be watching from San Juan closely just in case conditions change to more favorable and surprise us developing.

The wave axis is lined from sw to ne meaning it is being impacted by the shear.

Maybe down the road if and it is a BIG IF it survives the hostile journey your wish to see Alex would be granted.
