Today it was downtown Charleston itself and FINALLY, my location's turn ...
2 to 3 inches of rain fell in just a little over an hour and has caused some flooding problems ... today, however, the storms that affected my area were actually accompanied by some close lightning strikes (unlike yesterday's and this morning event in their respective locations).
