FROM ACCUWEATHER:
At this point the answer is no. The tropical wave moving toward the Lesser Antilles is well defined. However, there is a belt of strong southwesterly winds aloft (shear zone) that will weaken this system as it moves into the Caribbean. However, it will have to be monitored the rest of this week.

Maybe nothing will happen but surely everyone is interested in this tropical wave.

I remember "The Thing" and "The Blob"!! I hope we don't have a lot of "thing" forecasters this year like we have had "blob" forecasters in the past!!! :roll: :roll:

When I posted this should be Alex I meant IF it develops and is named. I am by no means convinced this will be anything more than a June tropical rain maker. It may but in my uneducated opinion I don't believe it will.
