SE florida rain deficit..

#1 Postby Vortex » Wed Jun 16, 2004 7:11 am

Living in Ft lauderdale I can certainly attest to the rain deficit. However, mother nature will balance herself out just hopefully not all at once.

Per MIA AFD:

CHANCES FOR ANY APPRECIABLE RAINFALL FOR THE EASTERN METRO

AREAS WILL REMAIN VERY LOW...AND SO THE RAINFALL DEFICITS WILL

CONTINUE TO RISE (FT. LAUDERDALE NOW 10.66 INCHES BELOW AVG FOR THE

YR). CHANGED VERY LITTLE TO THE FORECAST...

Hey Vortex maybe the wave approaching the Lesser Antilles will traverse all the way to FL.

Wish we could share the wealth. We're over 12" above normal for the year and have already eclipsed 40" of rainfall since Jan 1.
