Thanks Karan - we did have a really good group of friends then, even though I was a latecomer I was glad to have met them.
Heard from Keirstein! She said when looked at Storm2K, she didn't recognize anyone's name! Then I realized non-members cannot read the Off Topic Forum. So let's spread out to the other Forums.....LOL No really, I explained that she should just join us and gave her a list of who was here. And that we have a slew of new friends, like you Karan, that are our family now. Let's hope she joins!!!

You guys have NO clue how much I have enjoyed reading this thread the last 2 nights! Your reminicing is great fun...HOW could I have forgotten about Hobbes and Dreamy! Does anyone know how to get in touch with them?
Remember Bob was sammyb's friend in the service with her, and he chatted quite frequently? I heard from him sometime this past year...we kept in touch lightly. Did Sammy marry HIM? He was a hottie if ya'll remember! Very shy and quiet though...
I really miss sizzle/grimmy, we were such great "real life" friends too...wish she'd get ahold of me! She always added a little "spice" to the equation!
What year did we start chatting j and t? Anyone remember? I think I asked j this q a few years ago.
And j...you're an old scrooge....you wouldn't enjoy a chat like old days with all the old gang and all the new gang combined?! Live a little....lol.

Hey Everyone.. I finally found out where to go. It's so great to talk to ya'll.. I tried to find this place before: as Mary mentioned. Life has me pretty busy. But, now that I know where all of you are.. I'll have to post more often.. I sure miss those old chat days..

And another 'family member' returns!!! KEIRS!!! Wait, let me do that again.....KEIRS!!! Or should I say CINDY!!! I'm so glad you found your way here! See, look around you'll notice lots of familiar faces and meet some really nice new friends too. Many, many nice new people that have welcomed us into their 'wx family' too. Leave it to good ole Cyclone. He's very good at having an excellent idea, a simple, to-the-point, topic. He just merely starts it and then goes about his business. I think this simple "Hello" topic is very much like his "just saying hi" threads!!! Thanks Cy for once again, rounding us up. You're our leader!!! You come up with the great idea, Tracy and I will take it from there. LOL

FYI, to anyone confused. Breezystorms' first name is Keirstein, but we often call her just Keirs. And years ago in chat she went by Cindy, since it was a simple name. Hope I have that correct Keirs. I used to nickname her Cindyloohoo, from the Grinch. Remember that Keirs? Hey, maybe that's when you went back to your real name? Yikes, can't blame you.....he he

Linda and I were fortunate enough to be in chat last night when "BreezyStorms" blew in. I knew it was her immediatly. We had a great catch up session...so much can happen in a short time! I want to personally welcome you here too Keirs. Jump right in...

Mary...I'll "give up" the backdoor...if you were in chat and then saved the room to your favorite places on aol, then you only had to click on that to enter the room at will, no signing in, etc...poof you were there, even when the doors were locked...sunny tried for her life to get me to tell her how we did it, and I'd never give it up! If you wanted someone to visit you in the room that wasn't on AOL, you just sent them the link...right j? is that how it worked?
I also have fond memories of the times some of us from chat spent together at other sites...I know I got restless and divided my loyalties between a few other sites, and it was great fun when some of you would visit "off site". It was like getting to know everyone in a new light, under other terms. T, remember all our gammon games and all those who would join us? It varied over time didn't it?lol Eric, remember playing Checkers with my son?

I still remember getting my new PC. I knew nothing about it and had never spent any amount of time on the internet. But, I knew I was a weather enthusiastic. I always watched TWC.. and knew they had a website.. Somehow.. and I don't know how.. I got on the site and found my way into the chat room. I was always told to never give your real name online. haha.. So yeah, I came up with Cindy. The first name I could think of.. I was watching the brady bunch.. LOL .. Could this website be our breaking ground.. a new beginning..? Well it looks like it is.. and has been for some time. I wonder where I've been all this time.. while ya'll are chatting it up. I'm Jealous.. No seriously I am so happy to have found you. Thanks for the welcomes (Sky, Furry, Mary..) You guys are such nice people. I am so ready for the storm season to begin.. I'm still awaiting anxiously for a doosie of a storm.. We did have a storm blow through that uprooted a few trees and tossed some branches.. but for the life of me that storm never seemed all that strong until after it passed and we saw all those branches. (severe thunderstorm warning) The wind was quite strong though. Anyway. I'm stop ranting. Hope to chat with ya'll real soon.. PS; Fur..Mary...I Had a great time catching up.. Take Care!!!

Howdy Ya'll remember me?
It is me Toalba714 from TWC days. Well I am back on board my fine feathered weather fiends. How I missed all of you. I got a few E Mails from my good pal Hail Mary from Cincy.
I have been very busy of late yes doing some scouting, but not direct work with the Yankees. I work for a minor league scouting publication that covers the Yankees and Mets. I am not hooked up with a team as of yet though at the start of this season I thought I had a job with the Houston Astros, Due to a team budget problem $$$ I wasn't hired. But ill keep you guys posted and let you know when something new develops.
J ole Red Sox buddy we are now 51/2 up on you. I guess the evil empire rules huh? All in good fun buddy.
I still follow weather closely due to my travels. I will make every effort to post here again. I wont mention all names but I really missed all of you and am glad to be back. Love Always, TOM.
