ALEX, Tropical or Subtropical in Origin?

#1 Postby HURAKAN » Wed Jun 16, 2004 5:02 pm

Over the last 10 years we have seen the first six tropical systems in the Atlantic coming from subtropical origins and only 4 with pure tropical origins. And there comes my question, do you think Alex will have a subtropical origin or a pure tropical origin. Sure it doesn't matter, just, BRING IT ON!!!

I'm guessing pure tropical. It is already too late for subtropical, IMO. A tropical wave in the Tropical Atlantic will become Alex...
