I will stick with "Tracking the eye" :wink: I like the satellite zoom feature. You can zoom in to almost street level :wink: It's like $34.00 and then $10.00 ayear after that!! 8-)

Starstone software used to publish storm track data for all of the hurricane basins which was really cool. This year they've dropped that :-( You can still add the tracks for any global storm but you have to input the data manually...

I 1st bought the Starstone Software because it was the only software that I have found that included the entire planet but they have dropped doing that which is sad. Anyone knows a software that tracks the all the basins?

OK--I found it downloaded the trial version and then purchased. Now I am just waiting on a storm to use it on. I think I am going to love it! Thanks for the link.

Still swear best bang for you buck. Don't have to worry if you miss a cord, etc. Just wish they would add some kind of note box so you could add your own notes. Really missed that during Isabel. Maybe a blog box.

The new version 7 looks real nice..do you plan on upgrading?

Dang.. most of those on the noaa list are lame or outdated.. :roll:

I have got a laminated hurricane tracking map & the internet,thats all I need.I'm not going to spend hundreds of $$$ on something I can do myself.

Well, you don't need to spend any money, but to me doing it by hand is much more fun. 8-)

Yeah, I have a 4'x8' tracking map behind me that I use. Even though I spent some money on it, it is a whole lot more fun tracking them and having them hang there after the season is over.
If I have to evac, the comps, map, and papers all go with me !!!
