UPDATE: Wish me luck.. Going Job hunting today

I'm about to take off on a job hunting blitz this morning and probably apply to a handful of places here in town. Wish me luck as I go.

I of course probably won't know for a couple days if I get hired anywhere.. But I won't know till I try..

Well guys.. I'm back.. and exhuasted lol..

I hopped on my bike about 5 minutes after I made the original post and in close to a 6 hour period.. I went to between 20-25 places..

Believe it or not.. Most of them are within 2-3 miles of home max lol.. {Remember I do live right in the middle of Central Florida's tourist trap lol}

I went to about 5-6 restaurants. 4-5 hotels, 2-3 book stores, 2 gas stations {1 who said he'll check my references and maybe even call Monday} and several other locales..

I only got about 3-4 "we're not hiring now" excuses {some of them even after I had already filled out the application}

I had 2-3 where the "Help Wanted" signs were deceiving where they only needed help for a specific job.

The rest went pretty well. Believe it or not.. NOT 1 of the restaurants I went to was fast food {Shells, Stevie B's.. Denny's.. Ponderosa, Perkins }

Wish me luck.. I will probably go out on another blitz on Monday or Tuesday. Maybe in my same area.. Or maybe I'll expand my search to St. Cloud, Poinciana, or maybe even Orlando..

Oh and before I forget.. A video store I went too is having a job fair type thing from 10:00am-1:00pm tomorrow..

I plan on being there for an interview..

Publix {someone was at the comp. lol}

Thank you for the prayers Jonathan.. I almost had lunch at the Golden Corral when I was there lol.. But then I thought it'd be a little unprofessional to eat lunch at a place when I'm applying for a job there lol
