Looks like the system was a flop. This morning most of its convection fizzled out, some still lingering over the southwest Louisiana coast. The system continues to move east towards the Peninsula of Florida, which will probably just bring some rain to the Florida Peninsula ( Orlando, Tampa, Gainsville... )

The only flopping around here is the fish swimming in the streets :wink: :lol: as many of us here in SE Louisiana have experienced a tropical deluge today.

This convection never really began it's northeastward movement.
