Me? It was after that BLOODY night at another message board, that someone posted a link to Storm2K, I *think* I have David AKA vbhoutex to thank for the link Yes......I'm *thinking* a LOT this EARLY morning "LOL!"

I, too, I think, found S2K through that particular board that is ran by that cable weather network.

I found it by the same means as Brian and Dennis. A few of y'all lured me over. Then I lured some more over (hopefully) with that giant post I made which contained 5,000 spam links to this board (anyone remember that one? )

I used to chat in talkcity when storm2k chat was there. This was long before the group even existed. I found the room by accdent.

I used to post at PalmBeachPost.com's weather board which was fine until someone got the bright idea to mess around with its format right at the peak of last year's hurricane season.

That caused a massive exodus (incuding me) from that board to this one! And I haven't regretted the move either.

I kept hearing it talked about on other boards, and finally did a Google Search to find it.

I remember that bloody February evening that Dennis spoke about. I believe that the S2K link was posted several times and then that "other" board deleted the thread and banned the member. I received an invite from Chad via e-mail and found many of the other refugees here.

I kept hearing about it also but it was Eric who personally sent me a link and a very nice invite to join. And the rest is history folks....

I'm proud to be an inaugural member (Member #37, to be exact ).

I joined shortly after the admins posted the link on GoPBI and I've loved this board ever since. The best thing then was the format and how much easier it was to read through complete threads on one page (unlike GoPBI's old and new formats where you have to click and open each individual post). The best thing now is the friends I've made.
