Today's 7:00am Atlantic Basin tropical update is located at:

http://www.storm2k.org/weather/s2kforecast.html

The tropics continue very quiet. No tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Basin this year during June appears to be a certainty.

As always comments are welcome.

Good Job on the update. There is a Tropical Wave in the caribbean that looks OK but its intereacting with The Dominican Republic, and shear is surrounding it. There is alot of shear in the Eastern Atlantic, most of it dominates the waters off the coast of Africa. The western Caribbean and GOM looks fine but there are no thunderstorms out in the water, when will the shear subside..it dosnt look like it will anytime soon.
