This is Toooooooooo Bizarre!

WELL...here we are, the end of June and I've got the FURNACE running :eek: It's ALMOST cold ENOUGH for a FIRE in the WOODSTOVE, although, with the current fire restrictions, I "CAN'T!"....no fires of ANY KIND.....this is just TOOOOO WEIRD!!!! I'm sitting at 58° with a N-NE breeze of 12, gusting to 20 making for a WIND CHILL :eek: :?:

It's been rather strange all across the country. The only area with relatively "normal" weather is the NE and SE. I'd like to say that perhaps it's a good thing that you are having cooler weather than hotter for your drought situation?

I'll tell you one thing, it's been great sleeping with the windows open weather around here as well! :D

It was cooler than normal here today too. This DOES NOT happen at the end of June here in the deep south. Amazing!

ONG Snowman!! Thats totaly CRAZY!!! I must say though I am a tad bit jealous.. lol Looks like your going to have to roll that pot belly stove out onto our porch.. Just keep it away from me ;-)

I've done some research this morning and from my findings, this "IS" the COLDEST night ever recorded for this LATE in the year :eek: I bottomed out at 35°!!! *shakes his head in disbelief*

I caught it JUST IN THE NECK OF TIME :lol: I "RAN" outside, hit the *misting system* at 0400, put a *light* mist on the tomatoes, zuchinni, etc till 0545 and it SAVED them "WHEW....got tooooooo much money invested in the veggies this year, ie, WATER!"

Who knows but weather is definitely a bit topsy turvy out west... AK having wildfires and temps in the 80s and 90s meanwhile AZ is freezing :eek:

Wow, BRRRRRR, Dennis! :eek:

I remember being in Flagstaff in late May,
and, the temps at night were normally
high 40°'s, then! This 'ole TN gal thought THAT
was a wee tad chilly for my warm southern
bones! :lol:

We're still getting rain showers, every day -
the tomatoes are starting to split open due to
being water-logged!
