Weather in Philadelphia: July 4, 1776

As per Thomas Jefferson's observations, Philadelphia had a high temperature of 76° and a low of 68° on July 4, 1776.

How cool is that? (no pun intended!)

The high temp is pretty appropriate for the year as well. :wink:

We won't be anywhere near that tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing that image. It's neat to be living in an area so rich in history. Anywhere up and down the eastern seaboard for that matter has alot of history surrounding it.

As I just logged on briefly, I just wanted to say that I fully agree about having the chance to live in an area rich in history.

Tomorrow looks to be quite hot (upper 80s) in Philly.
