We vacationed in Florida several years ago and we stayed in St. Petersburg. It's beautiful there!

What a sad news day today. God Bless our fallen soldiers. :(

Time to "take care of" the ones responsible, no matter what nationality they call themselves! :x

I was gone most of the day today. I got up at 6:30 for church and didn't get home until just before 9pm. When I left this morning, I thought I'd be home a few hours later, but ended up visiting a family member in the hospital, going out to eat, spending a few hours at the park, running errands, etc. Everything was spur of the moment and I wasn't exactly dressed for the park.

Oh well, I think I needed a break from the constant news coverage. It's always on when I'm home. It gets depressing but I have to know what's going on.

God Bless America!!

Morning everyone. Looks like a great day here in SW Missouri. Yes, I do have to get back into the college routine but that shouldn't be a problem.

Everyone have a great day!

AAWWW Jacki.... I know about them tonsils girl, still have mine, I wish my parents had them removed when I was younger. Terrible to feel like that! ASPIRIN... really does help if your not allergic and you really do need an antibiotic.

Wonderfull sunny day here and NO rain in the forecast...yippie.

Clear and sunny here in SE Missouri; our campaign against the cockroaches has entered "Phase II" summary execution without trial of resisting isolated pockets.

Damn, these things are HARD to kill off...maybe that's why we have found them, same size and type, fossilized next to velociraptors?

I haven't dropped the PBS in a long time and figured it was time.

I still haven't been able to eat a lot of food, just some. Unfortunately, I've lost about 8 pounds in 2 weeks. (I'm already a slim person and this isn't good.) I have to go to work in just a little bit so I'll keep this brief. Just saying hello to everyone and continue thanks for the support that I need to get through my troubled times.

At least some part of my humor may be coming back, (check out the new signature). Again, thanks.

BTW, it's already 74º here and beautiful out, except for the coating of pollen everywhere.

Good Morning! Break time.....sheesh, I cannot quite watching CNN, MSNBC, I know.....it's NOT GOOD to be so focused on this war but dang, I can't leave it alone for more than 10 minutes at a time, during church yesterday all I could think, "Come on preach, I'm missing the news here" it was however a GOOD message, he mixed politics with religion, needless to say, he ruffled a few feathers :D

Yes indeed Bill, we need an industrial size can of *Raid* LOL!

WOW! HOLY SMOKES....talk about your heart in your throat SH**! I've got CNN on, loud enough to hear it, the cable company just ran the EBS....ya know, like something is fixing to happen to US here, MAN.... I had enough of that during the fire evacuation last year, WHEW, settle down Dennis, I'm shakin like a LEAF LOL!

Hey Jacki, I'm sorry to hear that your SOOO sick, take care ya hear, HEY......we're self employed and have a GREAT insurance program, it's FAIRLY cheap all things considered, if you'd like some info on it, let me know, you don't have to be seld employed to qualify for it, so let me know!

Back to the news!

Well here in SouthEast Texas its a gorgeous day. Yesterday was out and about - went to church - took the little one to CCE - you Catholics know its our verison of Sunday school and then I went and walked for three hours with the hubby at a hot rod swap meet. But it did do me good to get out and away from the T.V. and the internet for a spell. Back at work for another 40-50 hour week.

God Bless our Troops!

Afternoon everyone. It is absolutely gorgeous. Sunny and 78 right now with an expected high of 82º. It looks like more rain tonight and early tomorrow, but that should help the plants and keep the grass green.

are waiting for all!) :ggreen:

76° and sunny, here, today - came home from work, fed the birds,
fed the 'ole dog...wandered around the flower bed to see what
surprises were coming up!

Spring is definitely springin' up, all over!

Everyone have a great evening!

Well folks, as Ticka said it was just about a textbook beautiful day here in Houston. Therefore I went out in the yard and overdid it again! Since the advil hasn't helped with the pain in my shoulder(from cutting limbs above me with a chain saw)I guess I'm gonna have to hit the pain pills!

Dennis, I like you, find it hard to stay away from the TV!! That is one reason I did the above. I hope you didn't jump up on your foot when the EBS went off!! :o Hope it is continuing to heal!! Those EBS signals going off are like someone sticking you with a hat pin!!! I have no fond memories of those from my childhood when we never knew if, and were always told that, the next time it went off it could be for real and we needed to bend over and kiss our azz goodbye!!

Like many here, went to the Lord's house yesterday. Besides the fact I sing in the choir, I have always felt I needed to go on a regular basis for "refills" and "strengthening" by those "trained" to do his work. Now more than ever I believe we all need that.

Pojo, let's not have too many rounds in celebration!!! You still have to go to school!! :D J/K I know how responsible you are and know we don't have to worry about that!! BTW, with everything that is going on right now has there been any change in your AF enlistment status? I presume you are not scheduled to go in till you graduate.

To everyone else I wish you only the best each day and pray for PEACE ON EARTH!!

David...I agree about the church thing. It always feels right to go back every Sunday!

It is going to rain overnight I guess. Heavier precip. up towards my old stomping grounds of Sedalia.
