but he has it now, and kerry is going to be destroyed with the military and vet vote.
here is an interesting question. if john kerry or rush limbaugh were invited to speak to the troops in iraq, which would receive the warmest welcome? the viet nam war vet, or rush? it would be rush by a large margin.

edwards wont help at all in north carolina. he didnt run for re-election because he was so unpopular. but, graham might help in florida. problem is, kerry accomplished nothing in 20 years in the senate, so he needs a lightweight that wont overshadow him

I think Kerry will choose Gephardt as a running mate. They seem to fit pretty well together.

That's why he surrounded himself with people who did. Remember though, that was pre-9/11. Now people take foreign policy experience much more seriously.

John Edwards is an affable trial lawyer with a gift for public speaking, and is a first-term Senator with VERY limited experience in national affairs.

Dick Gephardt, on the other hand, is a LONG-serving Congressman, leader of the Democratic minority in the House, and has been co-chairman of several prestigious Congressional committees dealing with national defense and foreign relations. Gephardt also brings a solid "labor" voice to the table, and the two (Kerry and Gephardt) work well together.

Vilsack is too far "outside" to make any difference in the fall; my bet's on Gephardt.

Edwards looks to be the candidate now. He campaigns as a moderate but votes as a true liberal. Can you say flip-flop or just two-faced? Either way he fits pretty well with the flip-flop king, Kerry!

You are right! He managed to fool the voters in his home state. After his win he left them wondering "Who is that man and what have we done?" :lol:
