LOL, I'm an Entelbbucher Sennenhund
(Entelbach Mountain Dog)....
Origins
Switzerland. Smallest of the four Swiss mountain dogs,
named after the Swiss town and river of Entelbach. Used
by herdsmen to drive cattle to market.
Personality
This is a good natured, intelligent dog that makes a
good companion provided it gets plenty of space.
Well....huh....!!??

CajunMama - I feel your pain! Can't stand them either. Funny thing is though, I grew up with Cairn Terriers (my mom was born and raised in Scotland but moved to the US in '45). Then we got a Golden Retriever 4 years ago - now I'm in love with big dogs, the bigger, the better! I still like Cairn's but they're not nearly as people orientated as a Golden is! Another observation - my dog was attacked by a neighbor's Jack Russell Terrier when Hope was only 9 months old. I had to pick her up to get this JR Terrier off her, it was biting her face. Once the owner came out, saying oh he never does this (contrary to his statement, I've heard this is all he does, kids/dogs/cats, etc.), bla bla bla. Now when we walk past this house, Hope slows down and gives me a look as if to ask - is it safe to walk in front of THIS house? That is one little dog I will attack if it ever attacks my dog - in a heartbeat. I know I'll get flamed for this, but I really don't care for little dogs anymore.

Whippet!
Very gentle and good-natured, but born to run (in the Greyhound family). Hey let's all head to the park and chase squirrels! But no sniffing each other's butt, OK???
Except, dang, now I've got that song stuck in my head:
When a problem comes along
You must whip it
Before the cream sits out too long
You must whip it
When something's going wrong
You must whip it
ha,ha ... now you're stuck with it too!
