Kerry/Edwards 'Most Liberal Ticket' for Dems
Edwards may be more personable than Kerry (who isn't?) but his lack of experience and liberal views will end up hurting Kerry. Edwards is still finishing up his first term as Senator, his only elected office, and lacks the experience (especially during wartime) to step up to the plate as President if necessary.
Gov. Jeb Bush, the president's brother, said Kerry's choice "really solidifies the fact that this is the most liberal ticket that the Democrats have put up for, basically, modern times. If you look at the voting records of those two guys, they are way out there in left field."

Actually This is the most liberal ticket. Besides The one with Dick Gepheart or Tony Visilack. This is more liberal than a Hillary Clinton/Ted kenedy Ticket. That would actually be more conservative. John Kerry was ranked the most liberal senator and John Edwards was ranked 4th. ANd they are both flip floppers so they fit perfectly.
Also the fact that Edwards has no Foreign Policy or experience is going to hurt him badly in the debate with Dick Cheyney over foreign Issues

He has signed 73 resolutions in his career as a senator and not one has made it to the floor. None. That is unbelieveable. And HE HAS NO FOREIGN POLICY. NONE. He has never had an international affair. And with that being said with the main issue this year being the WAR AND SAFTEY OF AMERICA That is advantage bush. Because Cheney Will whip him at it. The only advantage he has, is THAT HE IS A BLOOD SUCKING LAWYER!!!!!!To quote John Hammon aka Richard Attenburg.From Jurassic Park.And he can affect you emotionally.

What do you mean by no international affairs?? Clinton had those and they were not thought of as being very presidential.
Some people are just so one sided. I don't think any candidate walks on water, but some of you obviously do.

Not at all Garrett. I base my vote on how that person represents me. Lying to get votes is not my idea of who I want to run this country.
Bush has done well with foreign policy.
I am not lopsided. I voted for a Dem Governor in the state of MS. He lost to Republican Haley Barbour, another liar and NAFTA supporter. He has attacked education in this state and has removed 65,000 people from Medicaid. Some of them who need it to stay alive with all their medications they have to buy everyday.
All that and he is having the Governor's mansion re decorated at the whopping tune of 250,000 bucks. So, I am offended that you say I am lopsided.
It is so bad there is a committee to recall him. That will fall on deaf ears though because this state does not support a recall. All those who voted for him are the ones crying RIGHT NOW!

My beef is with those that blindly support one side or the other. Believe me, there are just as many who would support the Dems no matter who ran. I supported Bush in 2000. And I hate Bob Holden, our current Dem. governor.
Linda... you just explained what I wish so many people understood. There are bad/good people on both sides.
At times, people here portray the other side as being nothing but negative. There has to be something good about the other side... like Kerry... he ummm... ummm.... ummm... ummm... ummm... is a good hockey player.

All you guys wake up and smell the coffee. I think with Edwards on the ticket, he will provide the campaigns energy. And hopefully you will hear alot of fresh new ideas out of these strong liberals. I think to the core of the issues these candidates are liberals, but they are rational and logical, and will handle Bush in the debates very well.

I vote against that which Kerry and Edwards represent.
Higher taxes;
redistribution of wealth (except there own);
Bigger Government;
Placing the International Community above the United States best interest;
New Social Program upon social program, not to help the needy, but to fix something that the program before didn't do for the needy;
Promoting Class Warfare;
Abortion; etc, etc, etc.
I support President Bush because he is the right man at the right time.
