Thanks All!

Flying into Detroit Metro - staying in Warren for 3 days, then driving up to Clare for 5 days!

The rental car prices are totally OUTRAGEOUS!! Must have to do with being close to Labor Day.... The cheapest I found is #231.86 for 3 days! I usually drive up and meet my Mom and Dad at Saginaw Airport and drop of the rental car.

Yay Mary! I know you are gonna have a blast. You might consider walking. It is cheaper than a car rental. j/k!

Michigan will be beautiful the end of August.....and the Clare area is awesome! I used to visit there when I was a youngin'!

That car price is awful steep! I just checked Travelocity.com......Aug.28 to the 31st.....pick up Detroit and drop off in Saginaw........price was anywhere from $25.95 to $119.99 for that time period depending on what company......you should check it out. I have used Travelocity several times with EXCELLENT results.

Hope this helps.......p

Thanks petal*pusher! I tried the 4 companies that have a drop off at MBS Airport (for convenience sake) and National was the cheapest. I will check Travelocity and see what happens and maybe I can just drop it off somewhere in Midland! THANKS!! :D

I have to have a car when I'm up there because I go and visit friends and always attend a concert at Pine Knob, which is now called DTS Energy Theatre or something.

Thanks p*p!! I got another car for an extra day and saved money! I got it through Alamo.

I went to Travelocity, but their one way drop off fee was $100.00 and I made the reseveration directly through Alamo and their one way drop of fee was only $50.00!

So now I have the car for 4 days, like I usually do and it's only $221.19!

Thanks again! :D
