Why be "on guard 24/7", David? We're back to that ability to
change the channel, if need be.

We have GPS - all kinds of technology - true. Our children
have to be able to "mesh" with this kind of technological culture.

Iraqis can possibly pinpoint locations - true - so can we. It's
a horrid "cat-and-mouse" kind of game, if you will...back to
the realities of war.

I have considered the safety of the troops with the broadcasting
from the media. If everyone involved has said "OK" to it, then, I
figure more contemplation has gone into it than what you and I might
consider.

A very good and healthy topic, indeed!

My point is this. If we do not have the media embedded in, when we see the pictures from the foreign journalists... without someone there with their own eyes and ears, we have to take SOMEONE ELSE's view as what happened.

This has been a problem in previous wars...we get pictures of civilian casualties and then the media must speculate on what and why this has happened.
