Bush says war will cost $75 billon

#1 Postby cycloneye » Mon Mar 24, 2003 5:14 pm

He will ask congress to pass an apropiations bill to finance the war efforts and it's aftermath.

But if the war goes more longer than expected then that number of $75 billon will increase but it depends on the duration of it.

Interesting, but the cost of war doesn't surprise me.

Can we actually put a price tag on the cost of freedom?

Bush should have put a hit out on him.

I'll bet a lot of those people would have taken a crack at him for that kind of money.

You can't put a cost on freedom, that is a fact. However, that is a huge war price. Just curious... does that account for the rebuilding of the nation or specifically military action only?

You're right! The only problem is that we would have to issue a hit on 5,000 of Saddam's henchmen. Great idea but not real practical. :D
