Patience as time will come

Folks I know that many of the members are eagered to see action in the atlantic and start to track storms and hurricanes and I notice some who are nervous already because their preseason forecasts may bust but mother nature has it's own mind and we can't do anything about that.Guys the storms will start to form soon as the heart of the season gets closer so the word is patience that the time will come when we will be talking plenty about storms and hurricanes.I know it is frustrating to see systems on the virge to develop to then collapse but that is what the tropics are about some years the first storm forms early in the first weeks and in other years the first storm forms by late july or in early to mid august.Let's wait and see when finnally we can begin to track Alex if not the disturbance near Bermuda then on another future occasion but I fear it will be a heck of a Cape Verde season as things look that way with the factors setting up. So the message here is to be prepared and be safe and let's see how the season pans out.

Funny one GDuck Let's keep things in perspective as Luis says. This is the first week of July!!! Very early in the season....everyone remain calm!!

Having followed hurricane seasons closely for several years, I can attest to the fact that the "real" season doesn't begin until Aug. 15 or so -- at least here in South FL. Some areas such as the TX and central Gulf coasts sometimes see early storms form from fronts and other non-tropical sources. But the CV threat doesn't get going for a few more weeks, when the shear, dry air, etc. lets up. So take time now to prepare -- and when Aug./Sept. rolls around, then we'll be ready.
