Anti-War protestors cost.......

#1 Postby j » Tue Mar 25, 2003 10:30 am

It is estimated (reported by Sean Hannity last night), that the actions of the anti-war protestors are costing the American Taxpayers $900,000 per day. And...they don't give a rats ass!! This takes into account the overtime Police pay needed to Police these demonstrations. These law breakers are taking Police away from protecting me, you, and your neighbors. We are in a high state of alert, and all available resources should be protecting us, but they can't because of THESE people.

They just don't get it! selfish unamerican idiots!

Okay, okay... say what you want to about the anti-war protestors but I have to say something about one of our brilliant senators... Jim Talent.

Yesterday in an interview with a local tv station he said that he was upset that the protestors are doing so now and that he wishes they would stop. (Okay...so far, so good!) Then he says, "Once the war is over, then they can go back to protesting!" Ummm... I think someone needs to tell Sen.Talent that it is the WAR RIGHT NOW they are protesting! Yeesh...

Ya know, do these protestors REALLY know the truth, don't they know Saddam is as evil if not more so than Hitler? I mean COME ON ppl, I don't know, my sister in law WAS one of THEM until Michelle shed the TRUTH to her and she said "Oh my God, what was I thinking?" Michelles reply, "You live in California, THAT'S the reason!" LOL, LOL, LOL!

I agree Dennis - don't these people realize the murdering that Sadam and his family and regime are doing to the innocent people of Iraq. Its funny how they think everything can be done with love and peace - well I think we you are dealing with tyrants like Sadamn - you have to use force. Maybe thats way President Bush is President and them protesters are just streetwalkers.

How much would it cost us to ship them overseas? It's gotta be less than $900,00 per day. One-way tickets of course!

southerngale.....I think we could charter one of those huge cruise ships, offer all the protestors an all expense paid cruise (destination a big secret ..hee hee)...we might even have enough cash left over to give our police and national guard some well deserved bonuses for protecting us from terrorirsm instead of babysitting these law breaking peacenicks!

Hey wait..is that an oxymoron?

The protesters seem to be highly uninformed and also have numbed-out about 9/11. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to peer into a crystal ball at what would happen if Saddam were left in power. Diplomacy doesn't work with dictators like this who are full of power and hate.

I also think it's an F5 on the Dumb-Meter scale for them to deplete our police resources while we're in a code orange.

Funny that my comment went unnoticed. If the protestors can't protest during a war, when can they protest? I don't approve of protesting and I won't do it, but when should they do it?
