antilles wave looks a little more concentrated this noon

based on visible satellite pictures the wave over the antillies is holding together quite well. But so far no wind shifts to the west or pressure drops. But never the less has become more concentrated around the Dominica area

Looks interesting. Some unfavorable Wind Shear may come into play in about 24 hours. It doesn't look to be a big factor because the shear is in a small area. After that the winds appear favorable.

Hello, this is my first post. Been visiting this site for a while now and thought that it would be fun to post here. With this system, one problem I see is there seems to be alot of dry air surrounding this system. I would think that this would also hinder any development in the short term. I'm not an expert and I don't think that I could even consider myself an amateur at weather forecasting so I may be wrong. Comments though and creative criticism is always welcome. 8-)

this system as of lastest vis sat imagery is still becoming more organized, but no circulation evident, as it moves w to wnw around long 63 w.
