MLC lags behind convection at wave east atlantic

Convection is way ahead of a mid level circulation as easterly shear has moved more quickly the convection west of the wave axis.Per 8:05 AM discussion low was at 9n-20w with the wave axis ahead in longitud at 25w.

What did Lyons say about 2004 season....I get the feeling below normal from his point of view. Is this correct? :(

Well it is not the theme of this thread but I will answer to you that DR Lyons said it is not unusual to have a quiet season so far as 38% of the seasons in the past 50 years the first storm has formed from mid july foward.He said that higher pressures in the tropical atlantic has stabled the enviroment and supressed the ITCZ a bit southward than normal.

Yes Luis I noticed that first thing this morning.. Any of the models going with it for now though?

Well about the models I will let that info come from those who follow them very closely like MW and others.
