TROPICAL WAVE S OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS ALONG 25W S OF 16N MOVING W 15-20 KT. SLIGHT RELOCATE BASED ON EARLY VISIBLE IMAGERY. SAT IMAGERY DEPICTS MID-LEVEL VORTEX ROTATING NEAR 9N20W ALONG WAVE AXIS. V SHAPED CLOUD SIGNATURE WITHIN THE ITCZ ALSO HELPED TO POSITION THE WAVE AXIS. CONVECTION REMAINS
DISPLACED DOWNSTREAM FROM THE WAVE AXIS. SCATTERED MODERATE TO STRONG CONVECTION FROM 6N TO 11N BETWEEN 28W TO 31W.

Convection associated with this wave has held together. As I recall, this is the first wave not to poof to come off of COA this season. Suggest we keep an eye on it for possible development.......MGC

Glad to see convection holding on it, but the convection is way away from the axis to the west.. No models support thus far.. We will have to watch

Another wave bites the dust.Convection is way ahead of wave axis and also another big SAL outbreak behind wave lowering humidity values.

I would really wait until this wave gets to within 1000 miles of the Antilles... then we can watch it..

Yeah Chad is right.. there is no current model support.. but we shall wait and see... 8-)
