I was just wondering how the Bermuda High effects a landfalling TC in the Florida area?

Bermuda High is key to the whole setup. It all depends on how far east or west the edge of the high is and also any troughing to the west.

Hurricanes in Fla can come from the east south or west. The bermuda High is just 1 of the many wx patterns that could steer a hurricane toward Fla.

( Might be wrong, please correct me if iam ) Didnt the Bermuda high have a BIG roll in which way Hurricane Andrew went? The Bermuda high was located more to the west which made it impossible for Andrew to turn anywhere north?
