Feature over MS and LA

Just listening to Steve Lyons and he indicated that this is an area to watch as sometimes when they enter the Gulf they can spin up a LLC. Thoughts?

I saw that too. That's funny because that's going to be part of the same system that will develop along the east coast.

A complex coming off land into the GOM on occasion will spin up into a TC. It is a fairly rare event though happening every few years on average....MGC

Like several of those before it in the last 48 hours, it will likely miss us and continue rolling ESE and around the base of the SE trough. Looks like some pretty decent energy is going to coming around, up, and into play on the east coast in 24 to 36 tho'.

We've been missing all those storms too. Haven't had rain in over a week and after 98 degree temps this week my yard is starting to dry up. We have our best shot of the week today, 40% :roll: .
