I think she got a fair sentence, at least she is serving SOME time. I do wish she would just admit that she screwed up but IMO we need to be more worried about the serious criminals out there rather than one who sold some stocks :roll: .

If she admits to screwing up then so should the rest of them that continue to do this everyday.

I think that her sentence is fair. It sends the message that insider trading (or whatever it's called) won't be tolerated. Anything more severe would have been ridiculus, IMO.

Her appearance on the courthouse steps didn't help her; what I have heard in describing her statements most often is "arrogant".

This will NOT bode well for Stewart when she's serving her 5 months; according to a source person who counsels high-profile prisoners (seen on FoxNews), she will be most likely to share a cell with a female drug-offender (the most prevalent Federal offense among inmates), and her "style", if one can call it that, could get her in a LOT of trouble.
