Whoa, Break Out the Winter Coats Next Friday!

See the forecast for next Friday, the last period of this forecast. Obviously, it is computer glitch or something, but still, it did catch my eye.

Yeah--that is a 110 degree temp drop during the day---wear shorts to work--bundle up in the afternoon. :eek:

LOL Brian! I wonder if any of the radio announcers actually read that forecast on the air. Some of ours down this way would have had it happened here. They probably would not have even noticed the mistake. :roll:

Nah, our stations have their own meteorologists. None of them use the NWS except for warnings. Plus the forecasts are pre-recorded and play on the hour.

However, it would be funny to hear the announcers (is there a such thing in big markets anymore?) go "hmm....interesting."

It would have been read on NOAA radio... and some radio stations do use the NWS forecasts (here anyways) lol

Darn, I surprisingly did not think about turning on the NWR. :roll: That would have sounded quite awkward. :)

Oh, boy, isn't that the truth! Too bad it was an error! Looking at temperatures nearing 95 in my area for the first part of the week, but a nice cool down by week's end.

Yea, a fairly strong cold front going to move through. It might just spark off some good storms in the area. Going to have to be on the lookout come midweek. Do you go storm chasing or anything like that NEWeather guy??

Yeah that cold front is sure gonna be a nice one...check out these temps.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Partly cloudy, with a high around 89.

Tuesday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 67.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 85.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low near 64.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high around 80.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 60.

Friday: Partly cloudy, with a high around 76


SPC has a slight risk out for tuesday.........waiting for the 800 outlook :D But it looks like the majority of the storms should mostly be in Northern Minnesota :roll:
