U.S. military says six Iraqi satellite jamming devices intended to disrupt targeting have been destroyed. Details to come.

that given the way our GPS guided munitions work, the effect of the of the jammers would be to increase the average targeting error from 10 feet to 40 feet. The aircraft and munitions don't use GPS to guide the weapon but to check the INS (Inertial Navigation System) on both. Its the inertial system that actually guides the weapon.
