weather observation

#1 Postby jeff and shirens weather » Wed Jul 21, 2004 6:17 am

I made a mistake on the weather observation on July 20. The Coucil Bluffs observation is not a NWS observation. This is an automated weather observation outside of the NWS. I should have used the Omaha Eppley airport report. My sincere apologies for the error to everyone; especially the National Weather Service. Thanks, Brian The Weather Guy for pointing this out to me.

An observer who makes that kind of apology for an error like this one has all the right tools to be a very good weather observer indeed. Nothing replaces a constructive attitude as one of the most important parts of weather observing. Thanks.

No need to apologize; it is only a weather oberservation! :)
