Why on earth would they LEAVE the Chemical suits behind I don't get it. Did we surprise them and they had to leave in a hurry?? Are they Iraqi suits? If they think there will be chemicals used, why leave them behind. A strange way of increasing our (troops) anxiety. Get the feeling that as the fighting intensifies, they will ultimately use any weapon(s) at hand. We will (and are currently) see fighting the likes of which we have not seen in a long time. This will make the Gulf war look like a cake walk. We will prevail; the big question is what will happen after. Sounds like the Saudi's are trying to stake a claim; a proposal that "mystified" both Iraq and the US. Now what was that about :? But first things first. Tally ho!!

Bio-chem suits, atropine injections, a cache of weapons...and now, a bunker filled with 2nd Infantry Division "coffee-stain" uniforms WITH unit and US ARMY/English surname patches in place...left for use by the Iraqi Security service, and "fedayeen"...we just got to them first.

also remember this Sadaam certainly isnt above lying to his own people. in order to try and keep them loyal and not defect/surrender he very well could have told them that the US would use chem/bio weapons and supplied them with the suits to show that he "cares" about them (meaning his own people)

i liken it to an old episode of star trek, when the federation caught some Klingons. the klingons were afraid of the federation "torture", etc. even though it didnt exist, it was what they were told by their government to keep them loyal

a similar situation could exist in Iraq. Sadaam knows he is in trouble, and in order to hold onto power and keep the Iraqi people loyal, he lies to them about what the US/UK have, are going to do to them.

not saying it is a fact, but a mere possiblility.

They showed an Iraqi bio-chem suit briefly on FoxNews...I recognized it as "Kostiom, KB, OOO Ladoga - Saint Petersburg", made in Russia and of recent (1998-present) manufacture...how do I know this? I OWN one of them, bought for my collection from a now-defunct supplier in PA four years ago.
