The JTWC actually dropped this yesterday then brought it back today with a "good" rating for development. The system is several hundred miles NE of Guam and maybe will affect Iwo-Jima down the road. The Monterey NRL didn't even have it listed when I checked it out around 9pm this eve :eek: Also, check out the area south of Japan. :eek:

There must be something wrong with NRL. It was up there earlier today, along with JTWC's TCFA, so they may be in the process of making it a TD? Who knows, but this does have potential.

The LLC was weak when checked by quickscat and was seperated from the MLC but the equatorward outflow channel does make it look better organized. Could be a depression by tom. maybe.
