#1 Postby southerngale » Tue Mar 25, 2003 1:57 am

I filled up today and it was 1.47/gallon

Then I saw tonight that the national average dropped 4 cents this past week.

Southerngale - the same here - the lowest I have seen around here is $1.49 a gallon - while most are holding at $1.54 - I think the prices will raise and fall with the news of the war. Also - oil companies will be doing anything to keep this price up - like the Nigeria situation. Lets hope we see prices back in the $1.10 range? I'm dreaming ain't I.

:grr: They damn sure aren't falling here :grr: DIRTY ROTTEN SOB'S :grr: We're still at 1.81, I saw on the local news last night that prices in Phoenix are still at 1.99 to 2.01 for the CHEAP stuff :o This is TOTAL BS.....business on the mountain has dropped some 50% over the last week, it's spring break, we have the best skiing we've had in years and the ski resort is reporting 100 skiers per DAY :grr: You can't tell me it's not the prices keeping ppl home! I hope these oil company execs burn in Hades :grrr:

We normally take day trips on the weekends to the VLA'S (you know, the radio antennas where the movie "CONTACT" was filmed, it's a 2 hour drive east of here on the Plains of St. Augustine) we haven't been ANYWHERE in over 2 months!

Maybe the price of gasoline has dropped around here, but I hadn't noticed. It is still WAY too expensive!

Gas here is between 1.39-1.44 a gallon depending on where you fill up in town. If I could Dennis...I would ship you some.
