Sad News:Exsenator Daniel Patrick Moyniham dies

No details of this news but I just saw it on CNN and all that they said is that he died after a long illness but more details will come later.

I send condolesences to his family.

sen Moynihan died after complications from an burst appendix and the ensuing operation.

he also had pneumonia a little while back and had been in declining general health the past couple of years (one of the reasons why he didnt run in 2000)

Sad news indeed. I saw that story when Wolf Blitzer broke it on CNN while ago.
